IFFHS WORLD'S BEST MAN CLUB COACH OF THE DECADE 2011-2020 : DIEGO SIMEONE (ARGENTINA)

The IFFHS has devised an equitable method for determining THE WORLD’S BEST CLUB COACH OF THE DECADE 2011-2020. It was taken in consideration the TOP 20 of each yearly ranking of each category concerned and allocated points to each place. So the first placed received 20 points, the second placed 19 points, the third placed 18 points …. And 1 point for the twentieth place. If the annual ranking comprised fewer than 20, no point will be awarded for the unoccupied places .

Adding the points from the individual years provides a World Ranking for the Period 2011 – 2020.

Diego Simeone, winner of the yearly Award of THE WORLD’S BEST CLUB COACH in 2016, is the Winner of the Award of THE WORLD’S BEST CLUB COACH OF THE DECADE 2011-2020. He preceeds Pep Guardiola, winner in 2011, and Jürgen Klopp, winner in 2019. Simeone realized a great performance with his club Atlético de Madrid in this decade : 1 LaLiga title, 1 Copa del Rey, 1 Super Copa Espana, 2 UEFA Europa League titles, 2 UEFA Super Cup titles and 2 times Runner-Up in UEFA Champions League Finals ! His regularity and his power made the difference to win the Award of the Decade 2011-2020.
