UEFA SCHEDULE FINALS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – EUROPA LEAGUE
The Champions League is being finished as a ‘Final Eight’ competition in Lisbon behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 crisis. The games will be one-legged ties, with those level after extra-time settled by a penalty shoot-out. Each team will be permitted to use five substitutes.
The unplayed last-16 second legs will be played off on 7 and 8 August at home stadiums, with the quarter-finals slated for 12 to 15 August. The semi-finals are set for 18 and 19 August, ahead of the final on 23 August.
Some of the games will take place at Sporting’s Estadio Jose Alvalade, while Benfica’s Estadio da Luz will host the decider.

FC DALLAS WITHDRAWN FROM MLS IS BACK TOURNAMENT IN ORLANDO

The Major League Soccer announced on Monday, June 6 that FC Dallas have been withdrawn from the MLS is Back Tournament due to ten of the clubs players and one member of their technical staff testing positive for COVID-19.
Each of these positive tests either occurred upon the club’s arrival or within a few days of arrival in Orlando. The decision was made in the best interest of the health of all players and staff participating in the tournament, and in line with the protocols created in conjunction with local and national health authorities and infectious disease experts, the league said.
Dallas had been drawn into Group B of the MLS is Back Tournament, where they were due to face the Seattle Sounders, Vancouver Whitecaps and Sn Jose Earthquakes. Their tournament opener against whitecaps on July 9 had previously been postponed.
Of the 557 players currently in Orlando, thirteen total players have confirmed positive for COVID-19, ten of those being FC Dallas players, two players from Atlanta United and one player from Inter Miami
