THE RECORD OF MOHAMED SALAH
Salah’s record for goal involvements in EPL
Mohamed Salah’s brilliant performance for Liverpool in the 2024-25 season of English Premier League not only brought him a champion title and awards as the league’s best scorer, best playmaker and best player.
The Egyptian has also equalled the old EPL record for most goal involvements in a season, 47 (including 29 goals and 18 assists).
The same number was achieved by Andrew Cole in 1993-94 (for Newcastle) and Alan Shearer in 1994-95 (for Blackburn). But they both made the feat when the league had yet old 22-team and 42-round format. Salah took fewer appearances, so he takes now the highest position in the EPL ranking since its inception in 1992.
