Sørloth, the best super-sub in La Liga history
Alexander Sørloth set the new Liga’s record for goals scored by a substitute in the same season. His goal for Atlético Madrid in the game vs Valladolid (4-2) on 14 April became his 9th of this kind in 2024-25.
The Norwegian striker surpassed the previous record of 8 goals established by Juan Antonio Pizzi in the 1996-97 campaign and equalled then by two other players.
