CRISTIANO RONALDO REACHED 300

Cristiano Ronaldo, first ever to reach 300 international goals

Another remarkable milestone in Cristiano Ronaldo's career: the goal he scored on 10 March from the penalty spot for Al Nassr against Esteghlal (3-0) in the Asian Champions League match became the 300th international goal of his career.
He is the first player in the history of world football to reach this milestone. The Portuguese scored 135 goals for the national team and 165 in international club competitions.
Only top-level continental and world tournaments are taken into account here (regional tournaments aren’t).
In this regard, we publish a list of the players who were the first to have reached the milestone international goals. Cristiano Ronaldo has done this before with his 150th, 200th and 250th goals.
The speed with which he moved from the 150th to 200th mark is astonishing: he reached these milestones in two succesive years!
The first ever international goal was scored by William Kenyon-Slaney. He did it in March 1873 for England against Scotland in the second ever top-level international match (as the first between the two nations in November 1872 had been a goalless draw).
