LAMINE YAMAL HONORED

IFFHS AWARDS 2024 IN BARCELONA - second part

Last Monday, a delegation of the IFFHS, with the President HE Saleh Salem Bahwini and the Senior Vice President Robert Ley, was in Barcelona to give the 2024 IFFHS Awards of WORLD’S BEST WOMAN PLAYER and WORLD’S BEST WOMAN PLAYMAKER to Aitana Bonmati (like in 2023), of WORLD’S BEST WOMAN YOUTH (U20) PLAYER to Vicky Lopez and WORLD’S BEST WOMAN CLUB to FC Barcelona’s Vice President Xavier Puig (see IFFHS Publication last Wednesday).

The fifth FC Barcelona Award was for Lamine YAMAL, WORLD’S BEST MAN YOUTH (U20) PLAYER 2024. He has received his Award a few days later, being the third player in IFFHS History to receive this Award after his teammate Pedri (2021) and Jude Bellingham (2022 and 2023). The FC Barcelona made a great reception for the IFFHS Delegation in the Presidential Box of the Estadi Johan Cruyff, after a Museum Tour and a visit at the Camp Nou, showing that Barcelona is more than a football club.
