IFFHS MEN’S WORLD BEST GOALKEEPER 2024 – EMILIANO MARTINEZ
He was 4th in 2021, second in 2022 and again second in 2023 : Emiliano Martinez has now jumped for the first time as IFFHS Men’s World Best Goalkeeper in 2024 with a sovereign win !
Argentina’s number 1 , brilliant with his national team (winner of the Copa America) and his club Aston Villa, deserved his Award with 167 points, 76 points more than Unaï Simon, winner of the Euro with Spain and the revelation of the year, Georgia’s Giorgi Mamardachvili. Mike Maignan took place 4 before the IFFHS Award winner 2018 and 2023, Thibaut Courtois. Yann Sommer confirmed his world level with Inter and the IFFHS Award winner 2021, Gianluigi Donnarumma entered again in the Top 10.
