Fernando Diniz (Cruzeiro) became the third coach in history to reach Copa Libertadores (CL) and Copa Sudamericana (CSA) finals in 2 back-to-back editions, after Marcelo Gallardo and Reinaldo Rueda.
In 2023, Diniz won the Copa Libertadores with Fluminense.
