Euro’s all-time ranking for clean sheets: no big changes after 2024 edition
No one of the Euro 2024 goalkeepers managed to challenge the competition's record for most clean sheets or even enter the historic podium, which still stands at Edwin van der Sar (10), Iker Casillas (9) and Gigi Buffon (8).
Jordan Pickford, who collected as many as 5 clean sheets at the last tournament, could add only 2 to them this time. The same number as Manuel Neuer added to his 5, accumulated over the three previous tournaments with his participation. Rui Patricio did not get a chance to play at all, sitting in the reserves.
As a result, all three were left with 7 total clean sheets by the end of the tournament.
