JESUS NAVAS IN THE TOP 14
Jesus Navas, 14th double winner in Euro history
Only one member of Spain's Euro 2024 squad, Jesus Navas, was involved in the team's previous glory period having won with “La Roja” the 2012 tournament.
With this, the 38-year-old defender now has two Euro gold medals, joining 13 other players who have achieved the same previously. All but one of them represent just the generation of Spanish players who won the European Championship twice in a row (2008, 2012).
The list of double winners includes few those who did not play a single minute in one of the victorious tournaments (Raul Albiol and Pepe Reina) or even in both (Rainer Bonhof, the only non-Spanish player in the list). However, they all are still considered winners.
