AYOUB EL KAABI IN THE TOP 20

Ranking for one-season scorers in continental club competitions

El Kaabi's 15 goals in this campaign - among the best feats

In this European campaign, Ayoub El Kaabi managed to score 15 goals for Olympiacos; 5 in Europa League and 10 in Conference League.
The Moroccan striker can yet increase his tally tonight in the Conference League final vs Fiorentina.
We publish the ranking for players who scored most goals in a single season of major club competitions in continental confederations (including qualifying stages).
There are 17 cases in the history where a player reached 15+ goals for one season in these competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the only one to reach this mark more than once (3 times).
Rico (full name Leandson Dias da Silva) and Trésor Mputu jointly hold the world record in this goal-scoring category: each of them has scored 19 goals within a season.

Radamel Falcao holds the European record with 18 goals for Porto in 2010-11 Europa League.
Ayoub El Kaabi needs a hat-trick vs Fiorentina to tie him. This is not something impossible for him given that he has already scored one vs Aston Villa in the Conference League semi-final.
By the way, El Kaabi scored 5 goals in two semi-final legs, repeating the record of the same Radamel Falcao for goals at this stage in one edition of a major European tournaments.
In the 2010-11 season, the Colombian scored a poker for Porto in the first Europa League semi-final leg vs Villarreal (5-1) and added 1 goal in the return game (2-3).
