Copa Libertadores: statistics on group stage match-day 5 (15-17 May) 

*With the victory vs Libertad (2-0), River Plate have overcome a group stage of the Copa Libertadores for the 33rd time in the history of their participations. 
Only National have qualified from group stages more times (38, including the current edition).

*José Enamorado (Junior Barranquilla) became in the game vs LDU Quito (1-0) the first player in the history of Copa Libertadores to score a goal wearing the number 99.

*The 40-year old Argentine Hernán Barcos has scored again for Alianza Lima (vs Colo Colo 1-1).
He became the 3rd player in Copa Libertadores history aged 40+ to score multiple goals, alongside:
Rogério Ceni (3 goals in 2013 for Sao Paulo),
Roque Santa Cruz (2 goals in 2022 and 1 in 2024 for Libertad).

*Alianza Lima have increased their winless series in Copa Libertadores to 21 games: a record of tournament. They can’t win since 2012. 

*Palmeiras (2-1 vs Independiente del Valle) have increased their unbeaten streak in Copa Libertadores to 16 games (they have lost the last time on 5 April 2023 vs Bolívar 1-3). 
It is their second best such streak in the history, after 18 consecutive undefeated games between 2021 and 2022.

*Gustavo Gómez has scored for Palmeiras again; now having 12 goals in Copa Libertadores, almost double that of any other defender during the last decade (the next is Yerry Mina with 7).

*Gerson’s goal for Flamengo after 56 seconds (vs Bolívar 4-0) is the club’s fastest in their history in Copa Libertadores. 
It surpassed Gabriel Barbosa's goal against LDU Quito after 2 minutes 12 seconds on 4 May 2021.

*With this victory over Bolívar, Flamengo increased their unbeaten home run in Copa Libertadores to 26 games (23 wins, 3 draws) and winning home run to 15 games (not counting the 2022 final, played in Guayaquil).
Both series are maximal among active ones.
Flamengo's last defeat as home team came on 4 April 2019 (0-1 against Peñarol).

*Álvaro Quiroga took 20 seconds to score for The Strongest (vs Huachipato 4-0), coming off the bench. 
It is the fastest goal by a substitute player in the Copa Libertadores since 5 April 2016 when Ezequiel Miralles scored 13 seconds after coming on for Huracán against Sporting Cristal).

*Rodrigo Ramallo who notched one of The Strongest goals in the game, was back to scoring in the Copa Libertadores after 9-year break. 
He scored last on 17 March 2015 vs Universidad de Chile.
