Rondón’s feat in CONCACAF Champions Cup
Salomón Rondón (picture) became the 3rd player in the history to achieve two hat-tricks in a single edition of CONCACAF Champions Cup.
The 34-year old Venezuelan striker scored 3 goals for Pachuca in each of the last games of the club vs Philadelphia Union (6-0) on 13 March and vs Herediano (5-0) on 4 April.
Two heroes who did it before Rondón were Javier Orozco and Darío Benedetto.
Orozco made even 3 hat-tricks withing a single edition (2010-11). Rondón can try to equal his record.
