IFFHS AWARDS 2023 - FC BARCELONA HONORED
The IFFHS has honored the FC Barcelona last week. With 5 Awards in 2023, the club holds now the IFFHS Record for the number of Awards in one year ! Aitana Bonmati (World’s Best Player and World’s Best Playmaker), Salma Paraluello (World’s Best Youth Player), Jonatan Giraldez (World’s Best Club Coach) and the FC Barcelona represented by Xavier Puig, Board director ( World’s Best Club) received the Awards in the Presidential Box of the Stadium Johan Cruyff in Barcelona. After Alexia Putellas (2021 and 2022), Aitana Bonmati (2023) is the second woman Player in IFFHS History to win two Trophies in the same year ! Olympique Lyon dominated the years 2015-2020, the FC Barcelona took the relay since 2021 to be now the sovereign leader of World’s women football.
