Cristiano Ronaldo's dominance in European football has reached truly epic proportions. With 4 goals scored for Portugal in two qualifying matches in October, his tally in the European Championships has increased to 54 goals (40 in qualifying and 14 in the final stages).
His number is at least 2 times higher than that of any other player in the history of the competition!
Robert Lewandowski, the second in the ranking, amassed “only” 27 goals – exactly half of what Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved.
