Luka Modrić: 1000 games!

The La Liga “clasico” on 28 October became the 1000th top-level game in the career of Luka Modrić.
And although he only was used as a second half sub, he took a significant role in Real Madrid’s away win over Barcelona (2-1) making an assist for the Bellingham’s decider.
Modrić is the first ever Croatian player to achieve the 1000-game milestone. His amount is made up of 830 for 5 clubs of his career and 170 for the national team.
His very first game in the senior football is dated by 10 August 2003; it was a match of the league of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Zrinjski against Široki Brijeg (0-3). He spent 20 years 79 days for reaching the landmark. 
Exactly a half of his games (500), Luka has held in the jersey of Real Madrid.
