A NEW RECORD FOR ALVARO MORATA

Morata’s record in Euro qualifying: 14 wins in 14 games!

The home match against Scotland (2-0) on October 12 was Alvaro Morata's 14th Euro qualifier for Spain. He finished all of those 14 games as a winner.
This is the largest such streak among the players in the history of tournament who won all games in which they participated.
Fabio Quagliarella has the second longest streak. He has retired having won 11 out of 11 Euro qualifiers for Italy.
As for Morata, he managed to avoid matches where Spain did not win. In the qualifying for Euro 2020, he was not on the pitch in draws vs Norway (1-1) and Sweden (1-1). In the current campaign, he skipped the lost away duel vs Scotland (0-2).
Missing these matches allowed Morata to maintain a 100 percent winning record.
Naturally, he will lose his record as soon as he plays in Spain's unwon qualifying match. It cannot be ruled out that this will happen already tonight, because Spain face a quite difficult test in Norway.
