All-time best top division goal-scorers: Canada (CSL, 1987-1992) (Part 23)
There were many different leagues in the history of Canadian soccer. Three of them were truly national top leagues. We will only consider them.
The first such league was founded in 1983, under the name CPSL (Canadian Professional Soccer League). However, it failed to last a single full season and was disbanded just after 73 days since the start.
CSL (Canadian Soccer League) was the second attempt of full-scale top level professional division on Canadian soil. It persevered 6 seasons, from 1987 to 1992, and was finally folded due to financial losses.
Here we present the CSL top 10 goal-scorers, with Domenic Mobilio as its record holder with 81 goals.
Two of 10 are foreigners: Ted Eck (USA) and Justin Fashanu (England).
