-       Spain will face Sweden in the semi final of the World Cup 2023, fllowing a deserved victory about Netherlands.

-       For the first time in History, Spain reached the semi final at a World Cup !

-       With 15 goals, la « Roja » has now scored the most goals of all teams at the World Cup.

-       Jill Roord became last week the best Goalscorer in the History of Netherlands at the Women’s world Cup with 5 goals before Lieke Martens (4).

-       Before the game, Netherlands conceded only one goal in the tournament against the USA.

-       Salma Paralluelo, only 19 years old, fired an exquisite strike to score the winning goal for Spain, beating Daphne Van Domselaar, one of the best Goalkeepers in the World.

-       The 2019 finalists Netherlands succombed to an overall controlling spanish team with Jennifer Hermoso at the top.

-       Stephanie Van der Gragt was again the Goalscorer for Netherlands, the Central defender scored already against Portugal and at the World Cup 2019 one goal !
