Jesús Ferreira, first player with 2 Gold Cup hat-tricks

*The United States have scored 6+ goals in 2 consecutive Gold Cup matches (vs St Kitts & Nevis and Trinidad & Tobago, both 6-0), something no one has achieved since 1993 when Mexico did it against Canada and Jamaica.

*Jesús Ferreira, who scored 3 goals in each of these games, is the first player in the entire history of the Gold Cup to achieve 2 hat-tricks overall (moreover, he has done it in consecutive matches).

*Ferreira became the co-holder of USA team on number of hat-tricks (3, along with Landon Donovan); the next after them are Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey (2 for each).

*Ferreira is the first player in the history of the United States team to achieve two hat-tricks in consecutive games. 
Worldwide, he is 11th player in XXI century to do this for a national team, and 2nd in the current year, after Mehdi Taremi (Iran) who scored 2 hat-tricks in a row in June at CAFA championship. 

*Ferreira became the first player to score 6 (or more) goals in the same Gold Cup group stage since 1993 (Luís Roberto Alves «Zague», for Mexico).
