Son Heung-min: first ever Asian player with 100 goals in top 5 leagues!

The goal scored by Son Heung-min for Tottenham vs Brighton (2-1) on 8 March was his 100th in the English Premier League. Thus, he became 34th player in EPL since its foundation in 1992 to reach this landmark, 14th foreigner and first ever Asian player to do it.
What makes his achievement even more outstanding, the South Korean striker became also the very first Asian player to reach 100 goals (all for Tottenham) in European top 5 national leagues.
Son Heung-min surpassed the old record of his countryman Cha Bum-kun who scored 98 goals in German Bundesliga between 1979 and 1989  (46 for Eintracht Frankfurt and 52 for Bayer Leverkusen).
