Statistics on Euro 2024 qualifier Scotland vs Spain 

*Spain has ended their unbeaten series of 19 Euro qualifiers by losing 0-2 to Scotland. 

*Spain have lost only 1 of their previous 10 games vs Scotland in all competitions (including friendlies); it happened in November 1984 in a World Cup qualifier (1-3).

*Spain had not lost a game by more than 1 goal difference for 7 years (0-2 vs Italy in the round of 16 of Euro 2016). They hadn't done it in a Euro/World Cup qualifier since 0-2 vs Sweden on 07 October 2006.

*Before the match vs Scotland, Spain did not leave the pitch without a goal scored in 39 Euro qualifiers in a row. The last match without goals was just mentioned vs Sweden in 2006.
