IFFHS AWARDS 2022 - MEN'S WORLD BEST CLUB COACH
THIRD IFFHS AWARD FOR CARLO ANCELOTTI
After 2007 with Milan AC and 2014 with Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti won his third IFFHS Award of WORLD’S BEST CLUB COACH 2022 again with Real Madrid ! The italian coach dominated the ranking sovereign, due to a fantastic season and a new UEFA Champions League title. Ancelotti added 245 points, 200 more than the second in the ranking, Pep Guardiola, winner only two times (2009 and 2011) of the IFFHS Award .Walid Regragui, already third of the World’s Best National Coach ranking 2022 with Morocco’s National team, completed the podium with a new third place of World’s Best Club Coach 2022 with Wydad Casablanca, winner of the CAF Champions League. It is the first time in the History of the IFFHS Awards that a coach takes place on the podium the same year in the two coach categories (since 1996) !
