*Helmut Schön led Germany at 4 World Cup edition totaling 25 games as Bundesteam coach (6 at 1966, 1970, 1978 and 7 at 1974). This is the record of competition.
*The Brazilian Carlos Alberto Parreira (24 games) came close to Schön in 2010 when he managed his 5th national team (South Africa) at his 6th and last World Cup edition in the coaching career.
*Among the coaches of 2022 World Cup, Didier Deschamps (France) has biggest tally – 12 games in total for his work with Le Bleux in two previous tournaments (2014, 2018).
