IFFHS Men's World Best National Top Division Scorer 2022:
Singapore league players stand out
The players from Singapore league moved forward in the ranking of world’s best goal-scorers of national top divisions.
The Montenegrin Boris Kopitović from Tampines Rovers, prolific again in August (6 league goals over the month), became the new leader.
The Japanese Kodai Tanaka from Albirex Niigata takes 3rd position in the ranking with 24 goals, conceding the 2nd to Kylian Mbappe just due to tie-breaker.
Another Singapore-based striker Shin-wook Kim has scored 8 goals in August: the 2nd largest number for this period (after Erling Haaland who scored 9 for Manchester City).
