TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Ivory Coast 2023 Qualifiers Draw.

The draw was made in Johannesburg, South Africa this Tuesday, April 19 with former football greats, Bafana Bafana defender, Lucas Radebe and Elephants forward Solomon Kalou drawing the lots. Apart from groups H and L, respectively, where hosts, Ivory Coast, and holders, Senegal are lodged,  each of the other groups will qualify two teams for next year's finals. Only 1 other team besides the ones mentioned will qualify from H and L, respectively. 

The draw produced the following groups:

A- Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Sao Tome/Mauritius.

B- Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Togo, Eswatini.

C- Cameroon,  Kenya, Namibia, Burundi.

D- Egypt, Guinea, Malawi, Ethiopia.

E- Ghana, Madagascar, Angola, Central Africa Republic.

F- Algeria, Uganda, Niger, Tanzania.

G- Mali, Congo, Gambia, South Sudan.

H- Ivory Coast, Zambia, Comoros, Lesotho.

I- DR Congo, Gabon, Mauritania, Sudan.

J- Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea,  Libya, Botswana.

K- Morocco, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Liberia.

L- Senegal, Benin, Mozambique, Rwanda.
