*England, with just two goals scored in 3 games, is the lowest scoring team to ever finish top of a group at a Euro tournament.
*England – Czech Republic (1-0) became the match with fewest shots (12) in the history of Euro finals.
*Scotland have been eliminated at the group stages in all 11 of its participations at major tournaments (eight World Cup: 1954, 1958, 1974, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1990, 1998, three Euros: 1992, 1996 y 2020).
*Croatia became the first World Cup vice-champion in duty for 33 years who managed to advance from group stage of subsequent Euro. The previous team to achieve this was Germany in 1988.
*Luka Modric is now both the youngest and the oldest Croatian goal-scorer in the Euros. He scored at 22 years 273 days vs Austria in Euro 2008 and at 35 years 286 days vs Scotland in Euro 2020.
*With the goal of Modric vs Scotland, his club Real Madrid equalled Juventus at the top of ranking of clubs whose players have scored goals in Euro finals. These clubs have 32 goals now while Bayern 31, Barcelona 25, Liverpool 24 and Arsenal 20.
