*Netherlands have scored at least 2 goals in each of their last 10 game: their longest such series ever (previous longest run was 9 games, in 1934-1935).


*Austria advanced from the group stage of a major tournament (World Cup and Euro) for the first time since World Cup 1982.


*North Macedonia’s star Goran Pandev has finished his long-term international career after 122 games (67 as a captain) and 38 goals.

*Denmark became the first team in Euro history to reach the knockout stage of the competition having lost their first two group stage games.

*After Lukáš Hradecký’s (Finland) own goal vs Belgium the number of own goal scored at the Euro 2020 increased to 6: twice more than at any 
previous edition of the European Championship.


*Artem Dzyuba, the Russian goal-scorer vs Denmark, equalled the record of goals for the Russian national team set by Alexandr Kerzhakov (30 goals).

*Russia (including Soviet Union) have suffered its 7 defeat in the Euro finals games with a margin of 3+ goals. It lost to Germany (0-3) in Euro 1972 and 1996, to Spain (0-3 and 1-4) in Euro 2008, to Wales (0-3) in Euro 2016, to Belgium (0-3) and Denmark (1-4) in Euro 2020. It is negative record of the competition.
Denmark is next national team with most defeats with 3+ goals margin (5).   


*Mikkel Damsgaard’s (Denmark) goal vs Russia became 20th goal at Euro 2020 scored by a player from Italian league which takes the leadership in the competition in this category. Italian league never produced as many goals in Euro history.

*In this edition of Euro (qualifying and final games), Belgium continue to win all games: 13 out of 13.
