Picture : Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 19th goal at the World Cup and European Championships combined; he equalled the record of Miroslav Klose (Germany) who scored 16 in World Cups and 3 in Euros. Gerd Müller takes 3rd place in this ranking with 18 goals.

*Antoine Griezmann (France) has scored vs Hungary (1-1) his 7th goal at the Euro finals. He is now joint 3rd with Alan Shearer (England) in the all-time ranking. Above him, Cristiano Ronaldo who scored his 12th goal vs Germany (2-4) and Michel Platini (9).

*Portugal became the first reigning European champion to concede 4 goals in a single match.

*Portugal has also equalled its negative record on the number of conceded goal in a single game of major tournament (World Cup and Euro). Previously, Portugal was beaten 0-4 at 2014 World Cup, again by Germany. 


*Kai Havertz became Germany's youngest ever goal-scorer in a European Championship game: 22 years 8 days.

*Portugal became the first European nation ever to concede two own goals in a single match at a major tournament (World Cup and Euros). Ruben Dias and Raphaël Guerreiro scored own goals vs Germany.

*It was generally the first game in Euro history with 2 own goals.

*The general number of own goals at Euro 2020 increased to 5: the new negative record. For all the previous history of Euro finals (from 1960 to 2016), only 9 own goals occurred in total; the former record was 3 own goals at Euro 2016. 

*Germany became the first team in European Championship history to both score and benefit from an own goal in the same tournament.

*Raphaël Guerreiro (Portugal) became 2nd player in Euro finals history to score both a goal in an own goal in the same tournament. The first such player was Anton Ondruš (Czechoslovakia) at Euro 1976 (he did it in the same game vs Netherlands). 


*Cristiano Ronaldo equalled the Harry Kane’s record on goal-scoring series in the games of European Championships (including qualification): he scored in 8 consecutive games (6 last qualifiers and 2 first games of Euro 2020 final tournament). 
Kane’s series was achieved compeletely in the qualifying campaign of Euro 2020: he failed to increase it at final tournament. 

*Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally in the current Euro edition (including qualification) increased to 14 goals (11 in qualifiers and 3 in games of final tournament): one goal yet needed to equal the one-edition goal-scoring record of Davor Suker (15 goals at Euro 1996 edition).

*Cristiano Ronaldo made another step to his aim to beat all-time World goal-scoring record for national team: with 107 goals for Portugal, he is now in 2 steps from Ali Daei’s mark (109)


*Robin Gosens (Germany) became the first defender in Euro history to make 3 productive actions (1 goal and 2 assists) in the same game. Besides this, Gosens had also a goal disallowed in the game vs Portugal.

*Rui Patricio (Portugal) finished his series: 453 minutes without conceding goals in the Euro finals. It started in Euro 2016, was continued in the current tournament and broken with an own goal of Rúben Dias in the game vs Germany. This series takes 5th position in the ranking of goalkeepers’ feats in Euro finals history.


*Cristiano Ronaldo y Pepe (Portugal) have played for 16th time together in Euro finals. They equalled the record established by Spanish pair Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta in Euro 2016.


*Kacper Kozlowski (Poland) is new record holder in the category of youngest players in Euro finals. He took part in the game vs Spain at 17 years and 246 days overtaking Jude Bellingham (England) who has played in the age of 17 years 349 days just 6 days earlier.
Only these 2 players featured in Euro games being younger than 18 years.


*Álvaro Morata has scored 4 of Spain's last 5 goals at Euro finals. If he scores one more, he will match Fernando Torres who is national record holder with 5 Euro goals at the moment.


*Robert Lewandowski became the first Poland player to score in 3 different editions of Euro (2020, 2016, 2012).

*With Gerard Moreno missing a penalty vs Poland, Spain has already 6 attempts missed in its Euro run. No other team missed more than two penalties!
