THE FIRST IFFHS WOMAN WORLD'S TOP GOAL SCORER RANKING IN HISTORY !

 

For the first time in History, the IFFHS publish the ranking of the Women World’s Best Top Goal Scorer !

 

We have taken in consideration the women best 20 nations in the World (official source : Top 20 FIFA Ranking Dezember 2020) and we add all the Goals of the Goalscorers in these  countries from January 1, 2021 to Dezember 31, 2021 ( the same rules that the IFFHS has established in 1991 for the men).

 

Today, at April 1, 2021 , the IFFHS has the pleasure to publish this first ranking and each month, we will update until Dezember 31, 2021 to crown :

 

-       THE WORLD’S BEST WOMAN TOP GOAL SCORER (all competitions Goals)

-       THE WORLD’S BEST WOMAN NATIONAL LEAGUE GOAL SCORER (only National league goals) 

-       THE WORLD’S BEST WOMAN INTERNATIONAL GOAL SCORER  (only international Goals). 

 

Esther Gonzales Rodriguez (Spain/Levante) is the first leader of this historical Ranking of THE WOMEN WORLD’S BEST TOP GOAL SCORER 2021 with 19 goals (11 in National League, 1 in National Cup and 7 with National Team) before her Spanish teammate Jennifer Hermoso (FC Barcelona) with 17 goals ( 7 in National League, 1 in National Cup, 4 in International Club Competition and 5 with National Team) and FC Bayern München’s Lea Schüller with 16 goals (7 in National League, 7 in National Cup, 1 in International Club Competition and 1 with National Team). The two Italian Goal Scorers Valentina Giacinti  (AC Milan) and Cristiana Girelli (Juventus FC) scored 13 goals,  the same total than Nigerian Star Asisat Oshoala , Chelsea’s Fran Kirby and Australian Emily Gielnik (13 goals with Brisbane Roar), who decided in the last days to join Sweden Club Vittsjö GIK.
