For the third consecutive year after 2023 and 2024, Aitana Bonmati is crowned in 2025 as the Women’s World Best Player of the year, ranking established by the IFFHS. Spain and FC Barcelona’s midfielder wins sovereign before Alessia Russo and Mariona Caldentey, the two teammates of Arsenal. Alexia Putellas, winner of two IFFHS Awards 2021 and 2022, shares the 4th rank with Klara Buhl , Bayern München’s winger .Two African players Temwa Chawinga and Barbra Banda enter in the World Top 10. FC Barcelona and Arsenal are represented by 3 players each in the TOP 10.
