Federico Valverde appeared in the season 2024-25 in 65 official games for Real Madrid, more than anyone else from a European club in a single season in the XXI century.

*Valverde was used 62 times as a starter and 3 times as a substitute.
*Of Real Madrid’s total 68 games during the season, the Uruguayan midfielder missed hence only 3: on 23 February vs Girona (2-0), on 26 February vs Real Sociedad (1-0) and on 1 March vs Betis (1-2).
*Only 2 Real Madrid players in the club’s history have played 60+ official games in a season. The second did it also in the 2024-25 campaign: Luka Modrić (63 games).
Kylian Mbappé appeared in 59 games; he shares the third position in the club ranking alongside Camavinga (2022-23).
*Valverde is the new Real Madrid record holder also for minutes played in a season: 5.557.
The previous record belonged to the goalkeeper Paco Buyo: 5.250 minutes in 1986-87.
