ENGLAND'S U21 MADE IT !

ENGLAND WINS THE U21 EURO 2025

England won their fourth UEFA U21 Championship title, retaining the Trophy with a fantastic 3-2 victory in Bratislava against Germany. Jonathan Rowe headed an extra time winner goal to bring the Trophy to England.

City's James Mc Atee had a great impact on the game with an excellent positioning, Liverpool's Harvey Elliott scored his 4th goal in the competition, England played ,in the first half especially, extraordinary counterattacking football and deserved his victory despite a solid German team where Nick Woltemade became the best scorer of the tournament (6 goals).

It was the 4th U21 Euro title for England, only one less than Spain and Italy, the record teams. After 1982 and 1984, England won for the second time back to back titles (2023 and 2025). Spain were the last to do it in 2011 and 2013. Harry Elliott became the 10th player in Europe to play more than one U21 Euro final after notably Thiago Alcantara, Fabio Cannavaro and David De Gea.
