Estudiantes La Plata vs Universidad de Chile 1-2

*Universidad de Chile have defeated an Argentine and a Brazilian club (Botafogo) in the same edition of the Copa Libertadores for the 2nd time, along with 2005 (Quilmes and Santos).
Overall, Chilean clubs did it 7 times (also Universidad Católica 3, Unión Española 1, Huachipato 1).

*This is the 2nd time that Universidad de Chile have started a Copa Libertadores group stage with two wins (along with 1996).

*All three goals in this game have been scored in the first 10 minutes. The last Copa Libertadores match with as many goals in the first 10 minutes was on 20 March 2014 (Cerro Porteño vs O'Higgins 2-1).

*Peñarol have now gone 20 home games without losing in the Copa Libertadores (17 wins and 3 draws): the best run for a Uruguayan team in the competition. They have last lost at home on 26 April 2017 (2-3 against Palmeiras).

Libertad vs Talleres Córdoba 2-0

*Adrián Alcaraz took 28 seconds to score, coming off the bench. It's the 2nd fastest goal by a Libertad substitute in the Copa Libertadores
Only Néstor Camacho did it quicker (after 13 seconds against Alianza Lima on 12 April 2012).

Bolívar vs Sporting Cristal 3-0

Flamengo vs Central Córdoba 1-2

*Central Córdoba became the third Argentine team to win at the Maracaná in the Copa Libertadores against a Brazilian opponent, following Independiente against Santos in 1964 and Argentinos Juniors against Fluminense in 1985.
