Sergio Ramos, first player with 30 red cards in XXI century

Sergio Ramos became the first footballer in the XXI century to receive 30 red cards in top-level matches during his career. The Spanish defender was first sent off in 2005, and reached the 30-card mark on 16 March in a Mexican League match for Monterrey against Pumas (3-1).
This is his first red card for his new club. Ramos has previously been sent off 26 times as a player for Real Madrid, twice for PSG and once for Sevilla. 
However, he has never been sent off in a match for the Spanish national team, despite having played 180 games for them.
While Ramos holds the XXI century record, a Colombian Gerardo Bedoya is famous as the player with the most red cards in the entire football history. Bedoya accumulated 46 red cards during a 20-year playing career which ended in 2015.
