Hrádecký’s 54-game unbeaten run in Bundesliga is over

Bayer Leverkusen's 0-2 defeat to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on 8 March ended the club's goalkeeper Lukáš Hrádecký's long unbeaten run.
Between 19 August 2023 and 1 March 2025, Bayer lost just one Bundesliga match out of 58 (on 31 August 2024 vs Leipzig, 2-3). Hrádecký was lucky enough to skip it due to illness. As a result, his individual unbeaten streak in the competition lasted longer than the club's one, having come eventually to 54 games (41 wins, 13 draws) until being broken in the 25th round of the current season.
A bit annoying, Hrádecký stumbled being just 2 games short of equaling the national record of 56 games held by Jérôme Boateng.
In the list of the longest individual unbeaten runs in Bundesliga history published here, 8 of the top 10 spots belong to Bayern players from 2012-14, when Bayern under Jupp Heynckes went 53 league games in a row unbeaten. Boateng managed to achieve a personal run that exceeded the club's.
Recently, two Bayer players, Hrádecký and midfielder Robert Andrich, have burst into the monolithic company of Bayern. The latter also missed the aforementioned lost match against Leipzig. Moreover, he did not play (due to illness) on 8 March against Werder, too. Therefore, Andrich's personal streak is not over yet. At the moment, it is 45 games.
