IFFHS WOMEN’S WORLD BEST PLAYMAKER 2024 – AITANA BONMATI
Crowned as IFFHS Women’s World Best Player 2024 last friday, Aitana Bonmati realized a double like last year, in 2023, winning also the IFFHS Women’s World Best Playmaker Award 2024 ! With 238 points, she won sovereign the category before Olympics Gold Medal winner, Lindsey Horan and her teammate, winner of 4 Awards in 2021 and 2022, Alexia Putellas, who came back after a long injury.
In 2024, Aitana was the head and the playmaker of FC Barcelona, winner of 4 competitions (UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Copa de la Reyna, Supercup) and of Spain’s national team, winner of the UEFA Nations League. Like Alexia Putellas, she entered in the IFFHS History with this second consecutive double.
