THE WORLD CLUB 100+ INTERNATIONAL GOALS
Müller and Mbappé in the “Club 100+ international goals”
We publish an updated historical ranking of international scorers, with 2 new players having just reached the milestone.
On 10 December, Thomas Müller became the 29th player in football history to celebrate the 100-goal mark in international matches after scoring for Bayern in the UCL duel vs Shakhtar (5-1).
Nine days later, Kylian Mbappé followed him as the 30th with his goals for Real Madrid vs Pachuca (3-0) in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final.
Mbappé’s total is made up of 6 international goals scored for Monaco, 42 for PSG, 4 for Real Madrid and 48 for France.
Leading by a wide margin in the ranking is Cristiano Ronaldo, only 3 goals away from reaching the fantastic milestone of 300.
Robert Lewandowski is 5 goals away from becoming the third scorer in history to reach the 200 mark.
The top 10 are made up of active players with only one exception: Gerd Müller.
Olivier Giroud has a chance to enter the “Club 100+” in the near future: 99 goals and the games with Los Angeles in the CONCACAF Champions Cup in the agenda since February 2025.
