IFFHS WOMEN’S WORLD BEST GOALKEEPER 2024 – ALYSSA NAEHER
After being ranked 3rd in 2019, 4th in 2020, 6th in 2021 and 7th in 2022, US Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher was at last crowned by IFFHS as Women’s World Best Goalkeeper 2024 due especially to a great performance in the Olympics 2024 in Paris, where she was brilliant and won the Gold Medal with USA. The consecration for Alyssa Naeher who decided last week to retire from international soccer. The battle was intense for the Award, Naeher collected 109 points, only 13 more than Cata Coll, Winner of 5 titles with Barcelona and Spain, and 18 more than last year winner Mary Earps. Christiane Endler, IFFHS Winner 2021 and 2022, took place in the Top 5 for the 5th consecutive year.
