IFFHS MEN’S WORLD BEST YOUTH (U20) PLAYER 2024 – LAMINE YAMAL

 

After Pedri (2021) and Jude Bellingham (2022 and 2023), Lamine Yamal is the third player to win the IFFHS Men’s World Best Youth Player Award of the year in 2024 !

Already ranked 4 last year at 16, Lamine Yamal was unanimously acclaimed in 2024 , obtaining 303 points , the largest win since the creation of this Award ! At 17 (born in 2007), Lamine Yamal, already 4th of the IFFHS World’s Best Player Award 2024 won by Rodri, has a bright future with FC Barcelona and Spain, winning this year the EURO with the national team and making an impressive season with his club. If his teammate Gavi took again the third place in the ranking like in 2023, it was Turkey’s rising star Arda Guler who was ranked at the second place. FC Barcelona completed their great success with the 4th place of Pau Cubarsi (also born in 2007), already the best youth defender in the World.
