Ancelotti, new record holder for games as coach in EC&CL
On 27 November, Carlo Ancelotti broke Alex Ferguson's record for coaches with most games in the main European club tournament.
After the Real Madrid match against Liverpool (0-2), Ancelotti has 215 games, one more than Ferguson.
He debutted in the competition on 13 August 1997 as a Parma coach, vs Widzew Lodz (3-1).
Throughout his long career, Ancelotti was in charge with 8 clubs: Milan (77 games), Real Madrid (68), Chelsea (18), Bayern (12), Napoli (12), Juventus (10), PSG (10), Parma (8).
In the ranking, all matches in the European Cup and Champions League since 1955 were taken into account, including qualifiers.
