NEW RECORDS FOR FC BAYERN

As we have mentioned, Bayern established in the Champions League starting round vs Dinamo Zagreb (9-2) the new record of the competition (since 1992) for a team scoring most goals in a single game.
The previous record (8 goals) as repeated 5 times by 5 different teams (see the ranking below), including Bayern themselves in the epic 8-2 vs Barcelona in 2020.
*Taking into account the European Cup era (since 1955), Bayern have already scored once 9 goals, vs Omonia Nicosia (9-0) in 1972.
Aside from the qualifying rounds, the last team to score 9 goals in the top European competition was Real Madrid in 1990 (9-1 against Tirol Innsbruck).
*Counting the UCL qualifying rounds, the similar last happened in 2011 (HJK vs Bangor City 10-0).
*With such a huge contribution of Bayern, Bundesliga teams scored 18 goals combined on the first matchday of the new Champions League season: a new record for German clubs on a single Champions League matchday.
*Overall, Bayern have already scored 29 goals under new coach Vincent Kompany: a new club record for the first 6 competitive matches of a season (since the Bundesliga was founded).
*Bayern have scored 20(!) goals in last 3 games in all competitions (including 6-1 vs Holstein Kiel and 5-0 vs Werder Bremen in Bundesliga rounds).
This was last achieved in August 2021 under Julian Nagelsmann (3-2 vs Köln, 12-0 vs Bremer SV in national Cup, 5-0 vs Hertha).
