Colo Colo vs River Plate 1-1

*River Plate did not concede a goal in the first half in 8 of their 9 games in this edition so far, more than any other team. 

*Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate) is the 4th coach to reach 100 Copa Libertadores games in the history of competition, after Gabriel Ochoa Uribe, Edgardo Bauza and Luis Cubilla.

*Germán Pezzella is the first current world champion to score with River Plate in Copa Libertadores since Óscar Ruggeri against Peñarol in the 1987 edition.

*Atlético Mineiro broke their run of 11 games without losing away from home in the knockout phase of the Copa Libertadores. 
Their last loss as visitors in a knockout round had been on 5 July 2017 against Jorge Wilstermann.

*Peñarol have won an away Copa Libertadores game in Brazil for the 6th time; only Boca Juniors won more such games (9).
