*Argentina, with a 3-0 win over Chile, have collected 18 points after 7 match-days. It’s second best performance after such starting spell in the history of South American qualifiers, only behind the Brazil’s one on the way to the 2022 World Cup (21 points).
Colombia, on the way to the 1998 World Cup, are third with 17 points.
*Chile (5 points out of a possible 21) have the worst start in its history in the World Cup qualifiers, even worsening from 6 out of 21 in the first 7 rounds on the way to the 2022 edition.
*Bolivia vs Venezuela (4-0) became the World Cup qualifier that has been played at the highest altitude (4,150 meters above sea level).
*It is Bolivia's biggest victory in World Cup qualifiers since the 4-0 against Paraguay on 14 October 2021.
