*The Netherlands have reached the Euro quarter-finals for the first time since 2008.
*The Netherlands ended a run of 3 straight defeats in the Euro knockout rounds at the tournament:
1-2 vs Portugal in 2004 (semifinal),
1-3 vs Russia in 2008 (quarterfinal),
0-2 vs Czech Republic in 2021 (round of 16).
The last Euro knockout game won by “Oranje” was 6-1 vs Yugoslavia in 2000.
