IFFHS Men’s World Best National Scorer 2024 at 30 June: Wu Lei
The Chinese forward Wu Lei took over the leadership in the IFFHS category of best national goal-scorers in 2024 from the Swede Viktor Gyökeres due to a hat-trick scored for his club Shanghai Port on 29 June.
Wu Lei amassed 19 goals while Gyökeres left behind with 18 scored in the Portuguese league for Sporting Lisbon.
The Italian Imre Badalassi from Tre Penne (San Marino) completes the podium. He has the same number of goals at his tally Gyökeres but concedes due to tie-breaker.
