Peru vs Canada 0-1

*Peru have lost against a CONCACAF rival in the Copa América for the first time in 27 years and for the third time overall, after 2 defeats from Mexico, 2-4 in 1992 and 0-1 in 1997.

*Peru have not scored in any of their first two games in a Copa América edition (0-0 Chile and 0-1 Canada) for the first in their history in the competition.
