The Egyptian club Al-Ahly won against its guest Simba SC with two goals without responding in the match between the quarterfinals of the Champions League in the tenth match between the two teams in continental competitions

To equal Al-Ahly Club the number of Tunisians Al-Taraji in the number of round-trip victories in continental competitions: 40 times.

The first for Al Ahly was 41 years ago, in May 1983 on behalf of Dynamos FC of Zimbabwe.

Yesterday's meeting defined the victory number 51 of the owners of the field with a score (2-0) in the African Cups (Al-Ahly has the most winning teams with this result easily)

While the guests were saved in the tenth defeat with the same result in continental competitions, including four defeats against Egyptian clubs.

Al-Ahly Club will continue its consecutive matches without losing in the Champions League (18 matches) as the second best streak for the team in the competition.

Al-Ahly Club supports the number Qari for the 20th time in the semi-finals of the Champions League (in its version).

The encounter between Al Ahly and Simba SC saw Tunisian Ali Maaloul pass Egyptian Hossam Ashour into reading number for number of wins after the Champions League Cup group stage.

Where Maaloul won for the 18th time with Al Ahly Club while the previous number recorded by Ashour was 17 wins, all with Al-Ahly the last one was five years ago (April 2019 on the South African account of Mamelodi Sundowns).

Note that Amr Al-Soulia joined his compatriot Hossam yesterday in number of wins after the Champions League Cup group stage.
