-       Spain booked their place in their first ever Women’s World Cup final by overcoming Sweden in a fantastic finish !

-       19 year old Salma Paralluelo made again like in quarter final the winning performance, scoring a new goal to have now 8 goals in 13 international caps ! Winner of the WORLD CUP U17 in 2018 and the WORLD CUP U20 in 2022, she entered with Spain in the final of the WOMEN’S WORLD CUP 2023 ! for a new title ?

-       Spain made again History for their third World Cup participation, their best performance was a 1/8 Final in 2019 !

-       What a goal of Olga Carmona Garcia ! The spanish defender made it in the last minute to reach the Final !

-       Sweden has eliminated the two last World Champions (USA and Japan). They were the unique team of the semi finals to have already played a World Cup Final (defeat against Germany in 2003).

-       It was today the 5th participation at a World Cup semi final for Sweden after 1991, 2003, 2011 and 2019.
