-       England progressed to their fifth consecutive World Cup quarter final, beating Nigeria 4-2 on penalties after a breathless draw.

-       Lauren James, fantastic against China, received a red card and let her team play to 10 during 40 minutes !

-       Nigeria deserved more with a great performance, reaching for the third time in 9 World Cup participations the knockout round.

-       Hayley Raso scored her third goal of he competition, the second of the day after Caitlin Foord, who was crowned as the Best Young Player of the World Cup 2011. She was 16 !
